Republicans Brace for Immigration Fight

A little old capital, al hunt.

This is one that particularly affects the republican party in many fights in the — in washington cut across local lines — political lines.

House republican leaders want to get something completed on immigration.

They want to get this album trust of being anti-immigrant off their back.

The problem is the majority of their caucus in the house does not want to do that.

When john boehner and paul ryan, the next couple of us, how can they square those two quite can — confillicting goals right now, to keep their caucus happy, but also to get something passed?

Does this put them at odds with the business community?

It does.

And also, much of the evangelical community, who were in town lobbying for a bill.

There is no doubt it is a political loser to oppose the immigration bill rate — bill.

It has become a real divisive issue within the republican party base.

That really is a challenge for john boehner who would love to pass some kind of a measure.

We know that the senate has packed — passed its own immigration reform they’ll.

What do you make of this theory that the package and bill in the senate, it would give them an advantage against the republican party in 2016? i think there is absolute truth to that, it was the case back in 2007 when they were able to blame the republicans for killing immigration.

If you do polls, it is not just latinos, it is also asian americans, if you ask them what they most care about, what immigration reform is its entry into civilization.

As long as they are seeing — seen as the impediment to that, they will be getting lower percentages of that vote, and they are the fastest-growing part of the electorate.

It looks like risk wrist the is going to crush it in the election tomorrow.

Does that mean that on wednesday he will start his race to be the president?

He has already started that.

Here is owing to use — he is going to use those votes as the rationale.

I think he is a formidable figure, as we know.

I think he clearly plans to run in 2016. as of now, lots have changed, and he will be a big player.

He is very much disliked by the evangelical and right wing base of the republican party.

So what are the chances than that right — chris christie can unite the party and position it to challenge the democrats who will have the white house in 2016? they say he is a winner, and they say republicans will be dying for a winner.

But that is not how they are acting across the caucus.

I think chris christie style which is enormously appealing in some places is going to encounter opposition, as well as his ideology.

Thank you so much for joining
