Immigrant families, union members and faith leaders will rally outside Sheriff Richard Jones’ fundraiser in Fairfield today.

The rally will begin at 5 p.m. outside the Tori Station Reception Center on 74 Donald Drive.

Immigrant rights advocates will protest Jones’ policies and will also call on Speaker John Boehner to make a choice.

Today’s protest is part of a national week of action in which immigration reform advocates are holding events to urge Congress members to move forward with a reform.
